Farewell, Old TV
Well, I finally sold off my old tv through Craigslist, so I can finally reclaim a good chunk of my living room.
I was thinking last evening, after wrapping up part 8 of Band of Brothers, about the best and worst novels I’ve read this year. It’s been a rather hectic year, so I haven’t had [...]

Amazon Freshness
One of the more annoying errands for me, being car-less, is grocery shopping. I’ve had to revert to my Japanese shopping habits, or visiting the grocery store once or twice a week.
Well, I’m trying my hand at the Amazon Fresh pilot program, so that they’ll be delivering fresh groceries to me (at a specific time, [...]

Welcome, Winter!
Yesterday marked the first snow of the season here in Seattle. I had to abandon ol’ Scooty in the Seattle University parking lot, as I was working the rare Saturday. No big deal, and the snow has pretty much melted now.
Christmas shopping is pretty much done, thanks to the stockpiled goodies [...]
