Homeward Bound
After my first full day back in the office, it’s time for me to hop i a rental car and trek over the mountain pass to my hometown of Richland, Washington. But first, let me share with you the fortune cookie I received from Kau Kau last night:
You will travel to many exotic places.
Right on, [...]

Jetlagged and Lovin’ It
“Jetlag is the soul catching up with the body,” to poorly paraphrase William Gibson, one of my favorite authors.
And so it has been, for me. The last few nights I’ve woken up with no concept of who I am, where I am, or what time zone I’m in. I’ve stumbled around in a confused [...]

Jason and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day
This has been the worst travel day I’ve ever had in terms of travel. Let’s recount:
There exists no driving map of Guam. I’ve been cobbling together how to get to different places by using maps ripped out of the phone book, a tourist travel magazine, and my hertz driving map. Needless to say, I’ve gotten [...]

Off to Guam, In Style
Hey All,
Just wrapped up the Asia portion of my tour. Now I’m off to Guam, and I’ve been upgraded to first class. Woohoo! Movin’ on up, Jason. The bad news is that there’s a 90-100% chance of thunderstorms in Guam the entire time I’m there. Cest la vie!
I also forgot [...]
