Memories of Yesterday
So I’m watching ‘Memories of Yesterday’, a nice Ghibli movie that is a good snapshot of nostalgia of 1960’s Japan. Initially I didn’t like it because it’s from the realistic perspective of a Japanese woman growing up in the 1960’s, and all that entails (even the remaining gender-roleish things can drive a good ol’ [...]

Meh
You ever have one of those days at work where you’re like, “hmm…I have no desire to work at all today.” Not an, “I’m tired” or “I’m sick of this job,” just a, “meh.”
Well, that’s one of those days, for me. Maybe because it’s sunny today–I’ll have to ride around my [...]

Naked Man Festival
The Naked Man Festival (Hadaka Matsuri) was everything I could have hoped for. Crackling with male testosterone the bite of the bitter cold, it was a boisterous and strange chaos in a land of orderliness.
It was also a great opportunity to meet up with my friend Jordan, who was crazy enough (along [...]

All that was…
I saw the Naked Man Festival, an interesting sight indeed. I`ll post pictures when I get home, but now, it`s time to peek at one of the top 3 gardens in Japan.

Ha ha!
Well, I`m at my hotel, which has free internet access, which is great. Even better, it@s literally right next to Okayama Castle and Garden, one of the 3 most famous gardens of Japan. So, a little sight-seeing to go with my Naked-man ness. Peace!
