Test Weeeeeek

Well, halfway through the day, going well. The Big Question Mark is my 8th grade class today, whom we had to call in other teachers last week to yell at them. Whether this helps or not I don’t know, but I have enough simple and hard worksheets to throw at them that I [...]

booooowling

Today I went bowling for the first time since…probably last May. Good times, managed to bowl a 109, about 20 points off my average.
The Japanese bowling lanes use balls in pounds (not kilos), and they have Shoe Vending machines for your bowling shoes. Neato!

Well, I’m very thankful for lots of things, too numerous to mention, but let me say this year I’m thankful for friends, family, my better half, and [...]

well, apparently this is my 200th post on my website. Nothing like milestones, eh? Well, let’s see what we can dig up for you on this momentous occasion…
I’ve made slides of school’s autumn festival and my trip to Kyoto, you can view them here.
My Labor Thanksgiving went exactly like I predicted it would, [...]

Happy Labor Thanksgiving!

Well, in Japan, it’s labor Thanksgiving! Time to celebrate when the coal workers were brutally beaten in the ’60’s, and the military forcefully removing them from the power plants.
Actually, i’m sure that’s not it at all, but it’s the first thing that comes to mind, with my modern history course under my belt.
I’m just [...]
